We are women deeply in love with our Lord and Savior. Our hearts desire is to encourage you in God's word - to ponder who He is - to apply His word in all areas of our lives - to sojourn with you.
A little bit about us...
Peggy Brown -Peggy was born and raised in a Christian home and at 20 married Wayne, a wonderful Christian man. They have 2 children; Ryan, 27 and Bethany 19. They love to camp! Right now, as they study Galatians, Peggy is REALLY learning that all things are by God's grace to us. Praise God!
Sue Donaldson -As a Retreat Speaker, Bible teacher, or workshop leader, Sue has a passion to share who God is with whomever comes her way. For her, intentional hospitality for the sake of Jesus is a joy and a privilege, and she believes it can be learned! Sue has a deep desire to encourage other women to find the reality and joy of knowing God through his Word in their everyday lives. Sue and her husband Mark reside in San Luis Obispo, California with their three daughters, Bonnie Sue, Bethany and their “surprise” treat at almost 44, Mary Grace. Sue has a personal blog at www.welcomeheart.com
Cindy Frauenheim - Cindy has lived in SLO since 1983, and met her husband Mark here at Cal Poly. Married since 1988, she has two children, Carsten 11, and Anna 8. In this season of life, she is continually learning to be a godly wife and mother, and helping out at her children's school. She enjoys hiking, reading, family time, and being taught God's word. She is always in awe of God's amazing handiwork, both in creation and in the lives of those who love him.
Rebecca Irwin - is dangerously close to the next age bracket in marketing surveys. She has had a six year education in all things that move on the ground, in the sea, or in the air since the birth of her first son Max. With her second son, Jack (4), she has learned how to talk like a pirate, and keep a well-stocked dress-up basket for super heroes. She met a guy named Jesse Irwin who worked at the Parable and played guitar for the Grace Church college group when she returned from Northwestern College in Minnesota. She fell for him and they married in 1997. Her family lives in Long Beach, Ca and love hanging out at the bay all summer. She is currently taking a sabbatical from leadership after six years of directing women and is happy to simply volunteer at Longfellow and St. Barnabus school. Rebecca hopes to use the gift of time to grow up in God this year and practice true community through hospitality. Missy Grant - Missy is a native to San Luis Obispo. She and her husband, David, married in 1992 and have four children, Joey, Emma, Jacob and Elena. Missy is deeply passionate about teaching, learning, and encouraging women in God's word. Missy has a personal blog at captivated-by-the-mystery.blogspot.com
